How To Make Whole Wheat Cut Out Cookies
Made healthy with whole wheat flour and naturally sweet with honey, these cut out cookies are packed with gentle flavors and a crunchy cracker-like texture.

Ingredients
- 4cupswhole wheat flour
- 2tspbaking powder
- 1cupbutter
- 1cuphoney
- 1egg,beaten
- ⅓cuphot water
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour and baking powder.

Cut in the butter with a pastry tool or pinch in by hand until the butter lumps are no larger than peas.

Add the honey, egg, and water, then mix until the dough comes together into a ball.

Roll out the dough to ¼-inch to ⅛-inch thickness. Cut into squares or with a cookie cutter.

Place the doughs a 1-inch space apart on the cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until edges are light brown.
