How To Make Whipped Shortbread Cookies
With just five ingredients, you can make this whipped shortbread cookies with a buttery and extremely light bite that just melts in your mouth each time.

Ingredients
- 1cupunsalted butter,softened
- ½cuppowdered sugar
- 1½cupsflour
- ½cupcornstarch
- 2tbsprainbow nonpareils
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F and line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.

Add butter and powdered sugar to a stand mixer, and cream on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Lower the speed to the lowest setting, then add in the flour and cornstarch slowly until just combined.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then place it onto the baking sheet. Press the cookies down gently with a flour-dipped fork, then sprinkle with nonpareils.

Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, then cool completely before removing from pan.
