How To Make Swedish Wafers

You only need four ingredients to whip up these tasty Swedish wafers! It’s a buttery cookie baked to golden and crunchy perfection for a tastier treat.

  • ½cupbutter,softened
  • ½cupwhite sugar
  • 1egg
  • ¾cupall-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease the cookie sheets.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Separate the egg and reserve the egg white. Beat the egg yolk into the mixture.

  4. Mix in the flour. Beat the egg white in a bowl until it stands in peaks, then cut it into the dough.

  5. Drop the dough by teaspoonful, 3-inches apart, on cookie sheets.

  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until edges are golden.

  7. Serve with coffee, and enjoy!
