How To Make Sixlets

Fans of sixlets candies will enjoy these fudgy and crisp cookies that are loaded with chocolate chips and the adorable pink candies.

  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz valentines candies, (2 packages) such as Sixlets


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment or silpat liners. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla and mix until well blended.

  3. Add flour mixture and mix on low speed just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and Sixlets.

  4. Using a small cookie scoop, drop by rounded scoops onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8 minutes, until edges are set, but still soft in the center.

  5. Let cookies cool on the cookie tray for 5 minutes. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool.

  6. Serve and enjoy.
