Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon, optional
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cup oats
- 11.5 oz semi-sweet chocolate chunks
- 1 cup pecans, or any nut of your choice, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Combine flour, cinnamon (if using), baking powder, baking soda and salt and stir into creamed mixture.
- Add oatmeal, chocolate chunks and pecans and stir until well blended. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheets.
- Bake for 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool on a rack for 3 minutes before serving.
