Award-Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

There’s nothing as a classic chocolate chip cookie. This tasty treat is made to have a nice crunch on the outside while staying chewy in the inside. The instant pudding mix is the secret ingredient to these super-soft cookies.

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. 
  2. Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar using a hand mixer at low power.
  4. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. This is where you start using a spatula.
  5. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
  6. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
