How To Make Chocolate Caramel Cracker Bars

These no-bake cracker bars have a pleasantly gooey and rich caramel and chocolate layer, sandwiched between some crunchy and slightly salty crackers.

Ingredients

  • 54Club crackers
  • 12tbspunsalted butter
  • 14ozsweetened condensed milk
  • ½cupbrown sugar,packed
  • 3tbspcorn syrup
  • 1cupsemisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Line a single layer of club crackers.

  2. Add the butter, sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, and corn syrup to a medium saucepan. Stir well and bring to a boil on medium heat.

  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low, then cook for 8 minutes, stirring every minute.

  4. Add ⅓ of the caramel mixture to the crackers gently.

  5. Add a second layer of crackers, then add another ⅓ of the caramel mixture, another layer of crackers, and the rest of the caramel mixture.

  6. Top with the chocolate chips and cover with a dishtowel for 3 minutes.

  7. Spread the chocolate in an even layer over the bars.

  8. Refrigerate for 1 hour until cooled and hardened before cutting into slices.

  9. Serve, and enjoy!
