How To Make Gingersnap Cheesecake Crust

You only need gingersnap cookies, butter, salt, and sugar to make this spiced cheesecake crust! Enjoy with favorite creamy pies over top for a tasty treat.

Ingredients

  • 5ozgingersnap cookies,crumbed
  • 5tbspunsalted butter,melted
  • cupwhite sugar
  • tspsalt

Instructions

  1. Stir together the gingersnap crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl.

  2. Press onto the bottom and 1-inch up the sides of a buttered 9-inch springform pan. Chill for up to 2 hours.

  3. Bake with desired cheesecake fillings, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Grind the cookies in a food processor or place them in a heavy-duty zipper bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs.
