How To Make Monster Bark

Make Halloween creepier yet more delicious this year with this adorably spooky monster bark recipe with candy melts, chocolate, and peanuts.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1bagmilk chocolate candy melts
  • ½bagorange candy melts
  • ½bagpurple candy melts
  • ¼cupsalted peanuts,optional
  • 2tbspgreen jimmies
  • 1pkgsmall candy eyes
  • 1pkglarge candy eyes
  • ¼cuporange and green M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Line a jelly roll pan with parchment- set aside.

  2. In a small microwave safe bowl, heat milk chocolate candy melts to package directions, stirring half way through until fully melted & smooth.

  3. Pour onto prepared parchment & smooth out into a thin, even layer.

  4. Sprinkle peanuts on top.

  5. Melt your orange & purple chocolates in the same way in 2 smaller bowls & drizzle over the first layer in a random pattern.

  6. Sprinkle on jimmies, add eyes & M&M’s randomly – work quickly so the chocolate doesn’t set before.

  7. Place tray in refrigerator to set for about 30 minutes.

  8. Prior to serving, break into pieces by poking chilled chocolate with a fork or knife.
