For this recipe, we made sure to use spice cake mix and canned pumpkin to really get that warm and nutty Thanksgiving flavor.

  • 15.25 oz spice cake mix, (1 package)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • ½ cup oil
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped


  1. Combine all ingredients, except pecans.
  2. Blend well, then beat for 5 minutes.
  3. Fold in pecans.
  4. Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

  5. Cool in pan for 15 minutes and turn out.
