How To Make Light Sweet Potato Cake

Sweet potato cake is a light and sweet dessert with the aroma of ginger and cinnamon. Serve with peanut butter for some added flavor.

  • cupsflour
  • ½cupwhole wheat flour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • 1tspcinnamon
  • tspsalt
  • ¼tspginger
  • 2eggs
  • ½tspvanilla
  • ½cupmilk
  • ¼cupoil
  • cupsugar
  • 2tbsphoney
  • 1cupsweet potato puree
  • peanut butter,for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients then the wet ingredients separately.

  2. Then mix them together.

  3. Pour into a loaf pan

  4. Bake in the oven on 350 degrees F for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

  5. Optional : serve it with peanut butter.
