It’s time to learn how to bake a pound cake from scratch. Needless to say, but people will love how moist and flavorful this cake turns out.

How To Make Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 3 cups sugar , sifted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese , room temperature
  • ¼ tsp salt, add to sifted flour
  • 6 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups butter , room temperature
  • 1 tsp almond flavoring
  • 2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, butter, and flavorings, then add sugar,
  2. Alternate adding 1 cup of flour and one egg until all have been added, blend well.
  3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and cook cake for 1hour and 30 minutes or until done.

  4. Test with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, then cake is done.
  5. Allow cake to cook for about 10 minutes and then remove from pan.
