How To Make Carrot Ring

Try your hand on this delectable carrot ring cake! It’s a perfectly moist cake loaded with carrots, and best served at tea parties or after a big meal.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 40 minutes
Total: 1 hour



  • ¼cupbutter
  • ½cupbrown sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1tsplemon juice
  • cupsall-purpose flour
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • ½tspsalt
  • 2cupscarrotsgrated


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Lightly grease a 9-inch ring mold.

  3. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.

  4. Blend in the eggs and lemon juice.

  5. Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  6. Fold in the carrots.

  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared ring mold.

  8. Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Serve warm, and enjoy!
