- 3gala apples,not peeled, diced into ¼-inch cubes
- 1cupsugar
- 2cupsflour
- ½cupcanola oil
- 2tspcinnamon
- 1tspbaking soda
- 1pinchsalt
- 2eggs
- 1cupwalnuts,chopped, optional
- 1tspvanilla
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Add the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.

Every after dicing the apples, toss them in the bowl with the cinnamon and sugar to coat them and prevent browning.

Add the flour and baking soda to the apples and toss.

Mix the oil, eggs, vanilla, and walnuts (optional) together and add to the apples.

Bake in a springform pan or a 9×9-inch baking pan for about 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
