How To Make Glazed Apple Maple Blondies
This easy-to-make blondies recipe have an exceptional combination of flavors. It has a sweet caramel glaze on top and a tender apple filling.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1⅓cupsbrown sugar,packed
- ½cupbutter,melted, cooled
- ½cupmaple syrup
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 2eggs
- 2cupsall purpose flour
- ¾tspsalt
- ¼tspbaking soda
- 2cupsapples,(about 3 medium), chopped, peeled
For Maple Glaze:
- ¼cupbutter
- ½cupmaple syrup
- ¼cupbrown sugar,packed
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl or mixer, beat the brown sugar, melted butter, syrup and vanilla until blended. Beat in the eggs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and baking soda. Add to the sugar mixture and combine well. Stir in the apples. The batter will be thick.

Spread evenly in the 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and the toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium low heat. Combine the syrup, and brown sugar.

Bring to a boil over medium heat and allow to thicken for 2 to 3 minutes and pour on top of warm blondies.
