How To Make Chinese Tofu Soup Recipe
A delicious and healthy soup filled with soft tofu, vegetables and Asian flavors.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 block of soft tofu, cubed
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups chopped bok choy or spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced green onions and cilantro for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a soup pot over medium heat, add onion, garlic and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.

Add mushrooms and sauté until browned.

Add broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Bring to boil and then lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Add cubed tofu and chopped bok choy or spinach to the pot. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Serve hot, garnish each bowl with sliced green onions and cilantro.
