Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Whipped cream and berries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar until mixture is thick and pale yellow.

  4. Beat in whole milk and vanilla extract.

  5. Gradually fold in flour mixture.

  6. Pour batter into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. In a small saucepan, heat evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream until just simmering.

  9. Poke holes all over the cake with a skewer and pour the milk mixture over the cake.

  10. Let cool in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  11. Top with whipped cream and berries before serving.
