Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.

  2. Add the onion, tomatoes, jalapeno pepper, garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper, and stir until well combined.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

  4. If using cilantro, sprinkle chopped cilantro on top.
