How To Make The Border Churros Recipe

These delicious churros are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect for sharing with friends!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, add water, sugar, salt and vegetable oil and mix well. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.

  2. Add flour to the saucepan and mix well until you have a smooth mixture.

  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

  4. Transfer mixture into a piping bag with a star-shaped tip

  5. Heat oil in a pan for frying. Once the oil is hot enough, pipe the mixture into the oil and fry until golden brown.

  6. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to soak up any excess oil.

  7. Serve hot with chocolate sauce or caramel.
