How To Make Debra’s Cheesecake Recipe

Creamy, rich and decadent, Debra’s cheesecake recipe is the perfect dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 8-oz blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream.

  4. Pour cream cheese mixture into prepared crust. Tap pan on counter to release any air bubbles.

  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the center is almost set.

  6. Allow cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled and firm, about 3 hours or overnight.

  7. Serve with fresh fruit or whipped cream, if desired.
