How To Make Cicis Breadsticks Recipe

Homemade breadsticks that are perfect as a snack, appetizer or side dish.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. Pour in warm water and olive oil and mix until dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.

  5. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thickness.

  7. Melt 2 tbsp of butter and brush over the dough.

  8. Sprinkle minced garlic, oregano, and parmesan cheese.

  9. Cut into strips and place on a baking sheet.

  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

  11. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
