A rich, creamy and delicious caramel made with coconut milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, brown sugar and salt.

  2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 20-25 minutes until the mixture thickens.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Let it cool before serving.
