  • 4 shots of espresso
  • 6 oz of dark chocolate chips
  • 6 oz of vodka
  • 2 oz of simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish


  1. Brew 4 shots of espresso and allow them to cool.

  2. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave.

  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled espresso, melted chocolate, vodka, and simple syrup.

  4. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.

  5. Strain the cocktail into chilled glasses.

  6. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
