  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add ground chicken, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook until chicken is browned, about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in ketchup, water, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, until sauce has thickened.

  4. Serve chicken mixture on toasted hamburger buns.
