How To Make Chicken Sausage and Pesto Pasta Recipe
This pasta dish is packed with flavor thanks to the chicken sausage and homemade pesto sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 lb of pasta
- 4 chicken sausages, sliced
- 1/2 cup of pine nuts
- 2 cups of fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a pan, cook sliced chicken sausage until browned. Set aside.

In a food processor, combine pine nuts, basil, Parmesan cheese, and garlic. Pulse until roughly chopped.

With the food processor still running, add olive oil in a steady stream until the sauce is smooth.

Combine cooked pasta, chicken sausage, and pesto sauce in a large pot. Toss until well-coated.

Serve hot and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
