How To Make Chicken Sausage and Lentil Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green lentils
  • 4 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the green lentils and cook them according to package directions until tender.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the sliced chicken sausages until browned on each side.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked lentils, sliced chicken sausages, diced red onion, diced red bell pepper, and chopped parsley.

  5. Drizzle the dressing over the top of the salad and toss to combine.
