Key Lime Waffles Recipe

How To Make Key Lime Waffles

Add a new flavor to your usual waffles by trying out our fruity key lime waffles! Cook up a batch of these for brunch in just 30 minutes.

Serves:

Ingredients

For Waffles:

  • 2eggs
  • 1⅓cupwhole milk
  • 5.3ozOikos Greek Yogurt Key Lime
  • 1tbspsugar
  • 1tbspbaking powder
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • 2cupsflour

For Topping:

  • 5.3ozOikos Greek Yogurt Key Lime
  • 2tsplime zest
  • 1tbspmaple syrup
  • lime slice,for garnish

Instructions

Waffles:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, and Oikos Greek Yogurt Key Lime.

  2. Add in the sugar, baking powder, kosher salt, and flour.

  3. Whisk until all the dry ingredients are incorporated.

  4. Coat waffle iron with nonstick spray. Heat up the waffle iron.

  5. Pour a heaping ½ cup of batter in the center of the iron.

  6. Close and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Repeat with the rest of the batter.

Topping:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the Oikos Greek Yogurt Key Lime, lime zest, and maple syrup.

  2. Top the waffles with a dollop and garnish with a lime slice.

  3. Serve, and enjoy!
