How To Make Cornmeal Waffles
Start the day with something healthy with these cornmeal waffles. They’re filling but still fluffy and are best with a side of fresh fruits.

Ingredients
- 3cupsorganic low fat buttermilk
- 2large organic free range eggs
- 6tbsporganic sweet butter
- 2cupsorganic yellow cornmeal
- 1cuporganic rye flour
- ¼cuporganic evaporated cane juice crystals
- 2tspbaking powder
- 2tspkosher salt
- 1tspbaking soda
Instructions

Whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and butter in a medium bowl.

In another bowl combine the dry ingredients. Gently blend the wet and dry ingredients together and let the dough sit for 10 minutes before using. Batter will be thick.

Keep it for up to a week in the refrigerator, and thin it with milk or buttermilk if desired.
