How To Make Pan Frances

Pan frances is just another version of French toast with vanilla and cinnamon. It's traditionally eaten to celebrate the Epiphany.

Ingredients

  • 2 bread, slices, preferably thick
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Put the eggs, milk, vanilla, ground cinnamon and sugar in a large bowl and whisk everything until frothy.
  2. Dip one slice of bread into mixture, lift out of mixture, and place onto hot pan.
  3. Cook for approx 2 minutes, then turn over with spatula.
  4. Cook other side for approx 2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  5. Once browned on both sides, remove from pan & place onto plate.
  6. Enjoy!
