How To Make Rice Quiche Crust

Make mornings more filling with this delectable rice quiche crust! It’s made in just 15 minutes for a buttery and flaky crust.

Ingredients

  • 1cupwater
  • 1cupinstant rice
  • 1tbspbutter
  • 1pinchsalt
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in the rice, cover the pan, and remove from heat.

  2. Allow to stand for 5 minutes until the water is absorbed. Stir in the butter and salt.

  3. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  4. Spoon the cooked rice into the pan. Use the back of a spoon to firmly press rice along the bottom and sides of the pan to create a crust.

  5. Use the crust with quiche fillings of choice, and bake as directed for quiche.

  6. Serve warm, and enjoy!
