Broccoli & Peas Quiche Recipe

How To Make Broccoli & Peas Quiche

  • 1 store-bought single-crust pie dough
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups yellow onion (diced )
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 lb. broccoli florets (steamed)
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar (grated )
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Roll out the dough into a 12 inch round.
  3. Place it in a pie plate and crimp the edges.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until the pie crust is golden.
  5. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet.
  6. Add the onion, salt, and pepper and cook until golden, for about 8 minutes.

  7. In another bowl, combine the eggs and cream.

  8. Add the onion, broccoli, and cheese.
  9. Season with salt and pepper and whisk to combine.
  10. Pour the mixture into the crust and bake 40 minutes until set.
