How To Make Blue Cheese Bacon Spinach Quiche
Make breakfast even more exciting with this bacon spinach quiche! Enjoy tasty flavors from a combination of bacon, blue cheese, and spinach.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust, deep-dish, pre-made
- ½ lb bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- ½ lb blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup half and half
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 8 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
Instructions

Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Par-bake the pie crust by placing it in the oven for about 5 minutes until just lightly browned.

Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees F. Scatter the bacon pieces over the bottom of the pie crust.
- Sprinkle the cheese crumbles evenly over the bacon.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, half and half, spinach and all spices.
- Stir well to combine.
- Slowly, pour the liquid mixture evenly over the ingredients in the pie crust.

Bake for 40 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the quiche set for 10 minutes at room temperature.
