Ingredients

  • ¾cupmilk
  • 2tbspwhite vinegar
  • 1cupall purpose flour
  • 2tbspwhite sugar
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • ½tspsalt
  • 1egg
  • 2tbspbutter,melted
  • tspground cinnamon,or as desired
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Stir milk and vinegar together in a bowl; set aside to ‘sour’ for about 5 minutes.

  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Whisk egg and butter into sour milk.

  3. Pour flour mixture into milk mixture and whisk until batter is smooth. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract to batter; mix well.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Drop batter, ¼ cup per pancake, onto the griddle and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until bubbles form and the edges are dry.

  5. Flip and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
