These feeling oatmeal pancakes are filled with bananas to make a hearty breakfast dish. They’re best served with fresh fruits and a bit of syrup.

  • 1⅓cupflour
  • ¾cupold-fashioned oats
  • 1tbspsugar
  • 2tbspbaking powder
  • ½tspcinnamon
  • 1egg
  • 1⅓cupmilk
  • 1cupbananas,mashed
  • 2tbspvegetable oil
  • 1tbspbutter
  • berries,optional topping
  • bananas,optional topping


  1. Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl. 

  2. In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, banana and oil. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Let batter rest for at least 5 minutes.

  3. Melt butter on griddle and pour batter in ¼ cups onto hot griddle. When there are bubbles on top, flip over and cook until golden brown.
