How To Make Sourdough Rye Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups of rye flour
- 1 cup of bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 cup of active sourdough starter
- 1 cup of warm water
Instructions

Mix rye flour, bread flour, and salt in a large bowl.

Add sourdough starter and water, then mix well until dough is formed.

Knead dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.

Place dough in a greased bowl and let it rise until it has doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Shape dough into a ball and place onto a baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375°F and bake for another 50-60 minutes.
