How To Make No-Knead Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

You can put whatever toppings you like on this wheat pizza dough. Even better, it’s a very easy no-knead recipe you can conveniently make ahead.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking:
Rise Time: 12 hours
Total: 12 hours 10 minutes
Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2⅔cupswhite flour,all purpose or bread flour
  • 1⅓cupswhole wheat flour
  • tspinstant yeast
  • tspsalt
  • cupswater
  • 1tspolive oil

Instructions

  1. Into a large bowl, measure the flour, yeast, and salt. Whisk until combined. Add the water all at once and stir with a sturdy spatula until the dough cleans the sides of the bowl; it will be sticky.

  2. Wet your hands and pat the dough to shape it roughly into a ball.

  3. Drizzle the top of the dough with olive oil and with your hands, pat it to spread the oil over the dough. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly against the surface of the dough so it doesn’t dry out.

  4. Let it rise for 12 hours or overnight.
