How To Make Mince Pie Doughnuts

Mince pie doughnuts are deep-fried, golden brown mincemeat sandwich coated with icing sugar for a perfect balance of sweetness and savory in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1jarmince meat
  • 1white bread,loaf
  • 2eggs
  • ½cupmilk
  • cupflour
  • 1tbspicing sugar
  • icing sugar,to serve, as desired

Instructions

  1. Spoon a tablespoon of mincemeat onto the middle of a slice of white bread and cover it with another slice to make a sandwich.

  2. Cut a circular shape in the sandwich with glass, making sure the edges are well sealed. Repeat for more doughnuts.

  3. To make the egg wash, add the eggs, milk, flour, and icing sugar to a large bowl and whisk until smooth.

  4. Dip the doughnuts into the mixture, then fry in oil at 375 degrees F until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Roll the doughnut in icing sugar.
