Cinnamon Sugar Cruffins Recipe

How To Make Cinnamon Sugar Cruffins

No need for a mixer for these delicious cruffins made with puff pastry brushed with butter. It’s baked until golden then rolled into cinnamon and sugar.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 50 minutes
Total: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 2sheetsfrozen puff pastry,thawed
  • 6unsalted butter,softened and divided
  • 1large egg,beaten
  • 1tbspmilk
  • ½cupsugar
  • ½tbspcinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and spray a muffin tin with baking spray

  2. Unfold both sheets of thawed puff pastry into a flattened sheet, then mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl together.

  3. Brush the puff pastry with the softened butter.

  4. Roll the puff pastry up tightly the opposite way of the seams (the longer way) then slice in half lengthwise.

  5. Slice each long half in half again to make 4 long strips.

  6. Roll the strip into a muffin shape in the muffin well. Repeat with the rest of the puff pastry dough.

  7. Mix the egg and milk then brush the muffins with the egg.

  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.

  9. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.

  10. Remove carefully from the pan and roll in cinnamon-sugar.
