How To Make Beef Sausage and Mushroom Risotto Recipe
Creamy, aromatic, and meaty risotto enriched with savory beef sausage and mushrooms.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 beef sausages, sliced
- 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant and translucent.

Add the sliced beef sausages and mushrooms. Cook until browned and crispy, then remove from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add Arborio rice and toast it for a minute or until it turns slightly golden.

Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate.

Add the broth, 1/2 a cup at a time, stirring frequently until the rice has absorbed the liquid. Repeat until the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy.

Stir in the butter, Parmesan cheese and the cooked sausage and mushroom mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the risotto hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
