How To Make Bar Nuts (Gramercy Tavern Copycat)
Inspired by Gramercy Tavern’s recipe, these bar nuts are a play on various sweet, spicy, and salty flavors as they come with a mix of spices and seasonings.

Ingredients
- 4tbspdark brown sugar,packed
- ½tbspkosher salt
- 1¾tspground cumin
- 1tspground cinnamon
- ½tspcayenne pepper
- ¾tspground ginger
- ¼tspground nutmeg
- 2tbspwater
- 1½tsplight corn syrup
- 3½cupsunsalted nuts,roasted, (any combination of cashews, pecans and almonds)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix all ingredients except for nuts in a medium bowl. Add nuts and toss with spice mixture until evenly coated.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring once halfway. When nuts are done, the cashews will be a shade more golden than they started. Stir nuts with spatula, then carefully slide or lift parchment and nuts off hot baking sheet onto countertop and let cool completely.

Break up nuts. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to one week.
