  • 2Hass avocados
  • ¼cuppomegranate seeds
  • 2tbspwhite Spanish onion,¼-in diced
  • 2fresh serrano chiles
  • 2tbspfresh cilantro,thin strips
  • 1tspsalt
  • 1tsplemon juice,freshly squeezed, or to taste


  1. Halve the avocados and remove the pits.

  2. Scoop the meat into a bowl.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and lemon juice, and more chiles, if desired.
