Its fresh and raw avocado flavor elevates a dish without being too overpowering. Try it out with this Chilis chicken bacon ranch quesadilla copycat!

How To Make Avocado Appetizers

Your usual guacamole recipe, but with a bit of spice.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 avocados, peeled, pitted, and roughly chopped, or 10 oz frozen avocado chunks
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For Garnish:

  • ¼ tsp paprika, per serving

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and puree until smooth.
  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Adjust accordingly.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with paprika and serve with tortilla or nacho chips.
