Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 bag Fritos corn chips
- 16 oz cheese, shredded
- 1 onion, large, chopped
- 1 head lettuce, chopped
- 4 tomatoes , chopped
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper , to taste
- garlic
- onion powder , to taste
Instructions

On a large platter, layer Fritos, ⅓ of the cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
- Top with the second third of the cheese.
- Brown hamburger meat, and add chopped onion.
- Drain well. Return to skillet.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder.
- Add tomato sauce, water, and the rest of the cheese.
- Stir well and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
- Pour hot meat mixture over entire platter and serve immediately.
