How To Make Easy Baked Cranberry Brie Bites Recipe

These brie bites are a great holiday treat! Slices of brie are baked in filo pastry and topped with cranberry sauce to make this bite-sized creamy goodness.

Total: 25 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1mini fillo shells,package, frozen, 15-count
  • 3ozbrie,cut into 15 evenly-sized cubes
  • basil leaves,fresh, torn into small pieces

For Cranberry Sauce:

  • cupscranberries,fresh
  • ¼cupBota Box red wine
  • ¼cupwater
  • 1tbspsugar,granulated, or any desired sweetener

Instructions

Cranberry Sauce:

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low. Continue simmering, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries begin to pop.

  3. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.

To Assemble:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Spread out mini filo shell evenly on a baking sheet. Fill each with a piece of brie. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the brie is completely melted.

  3. Spoon a few teaspoons of the warm cranberry sauce into each fillo shell. Top with a torn fresh basil leaf, if desired.
