Ingredients

  • 1 lb calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 1/2 pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Thread calamari, pineapple, and red bell pepper onto skewers.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  4. Brush skewers with the marinade.

  5. Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until calamari is cooked through and pineapple is charred.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
