Pocky Flavors (Glico Copycat)
Fall head over heels in love in these Glico-inspired pocky flavors, made using homemade biscuits sticks and melted chocolate.
Ingredients
- 150 g plain flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 g unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp milk
For Toppings:
- milk chocolate, melted
- almonds, crushed
Instructions
-
Add all the dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse 1 or 2 times.
-
Add the chopped butter into the food processor and pulse 2 or 3 times until resembles coarse bread crumbs.
- Add the milk and pulse again.
-
Wrap the ball of dough with saran wrap or cling film and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
-
Roll the dough out until it's about 0.19-inch thick.
-
Form it into a rectangle shape, cutting off the excess dough on the sides. Then cut it into thin pieces about 0.19-inches wide.
- Place the sticks in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
-
Coat with melted chocolate, and any other toppings of choice. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
If you don’t want to make 70 sticks in one go, the cookie dough can be stored for about 3 days in the fridge, and for about 3 months in the freezer. Ensure the dough is tightly wrapped in cling film twice and stored in a zip lock bag.
